I recently bought a dremel 3000 and after almost 3 hours of total worktime (across several days) it stopped working. No vibration, no smoke or smell. It just doesnt switch on. My el cheapo chinese rotary tool lasted way longer. Is there a service center in Secundrabad/Hyderabad where I can get this fixed?

I was cutting foam board with it, and  I applied really little pressure. This was my first dremel, and now I feel it's just over hyped. I can buy 5 el cheapos in the cost of one dremel and they'll probably last me a lifetime. I'm really disappointed.

is the dremel bought from flipkart covered under warranty ; is there any method to check the product is genuine or not?

I went to the service center mentioned by you, they don't want to give me warranty for some reason. They say anything bought online is not covered under warranty. I'm terribly disappointed.

I still have no news of my dremel or its warranty. So much for your utmost preference.
I went to the store and they asked me to come the next day without any reason. That store is about 20 km from my house, and I find lying lifeless on my rug more productive than running behind a disappointment of a machine.
