Some good news for Scratch builders, RC Enthusiasts and all aeromodellors.

The hard to find EPP Foam is now available in India with Vortex-RC

EPP Foam Blocks are available in 1000MMx550MM in size with a thickness of 50MM.
The density of the blocks is 30KG/m³, ideal for building RC models.
Available in White and Black ( Yes Black ! ) colours.



EPP Foam is extremely hard to find, specially in India, and suppliers have been far and few.
If you need EPP Sheets in any particular thickness, let us know, we shall try to hot wire cut it for you !

EPP stands for Expanded PolyPropylene. Its a type of foam that is flexible, highly impact resistance, so much so that the sheets can be almost bent without breaking, and has a springy feel to it. It has excellent compression recovery and is almost unbreakable.

EPP foam has an additional advantage : It is compatible with Cyano Acrylate (CA) Glue. This makes it super easy and quick to build RC airplanes and models out of this type of foam.

EPP is best strengthened by thin carbon spars and stringers. Furthermore EPP when skinned with Shipping tape or any adhesive tape becomes very strong.

EPP Foam blocks are great for hot wire cutting wings. Make your own flying wing, or cut out any airfoil of your choice.

Indeed yes. That was a typo.

50mm thickness is too much, will be good if you can supply 5mm thickness as most parkjets can be easily built

let us know costing too.

will be good as models will be indestructible.

And 3mm thick sheets too! Please.

50MM Thickness is intended for Hot wire cutting of airfoils and wings.

Will be making 5MM and probably 3MM sheets too.

yes planes shall be virtually be nearly indestructible built from this EPP !
