Awesome! Where did u find all these addresses??? I'll go to the first address 2day itself and check it out.. The problem with the other industrial estate people is that they only sell in bulk, will check them out anyway..

I hope you find everything that you need here, and even if they sell in bulk always use "I need it for my college project, even a small amount will do" and it works, specially with the balsa guys!

there's so much happening in that little state and nobody even knows!

I think this event is already over Anyway I hope they have something like this next year.. I'll surely participate!

so has anyone found a good foam source? i went around asking in vasco and margao, but the only thing they have is thermocol.... -_-

dont worry .... use a good thermocol and make it stiff by paper coating.... it is good enough...

so any one found any proper source for depron or epp?

today i was returning home from margao, i saw a shop near arlem bypass called creative works... they make props out of foam... don't know what, but it looked like depron... smooth and what not... may check it out soon and tell you guys...

no its not depron its thermacol they use sand paper to make it smooth and then they paint it. its really difficult to get depron in Goa. 

aaaw... ... maybe i'll get some from pune then....

get some coroplast and it will be fine to make your first plane...

@ prateek - I tried to fly gental lady glider (after practicing on simulator for many hrs)  no success . thr is sm balancing problem. and dont want to take more risk, i think i shd try sm other bignr plane. any suggestions? thinking of building extra300 with 6mm thermacol. dont know wthr it will work or not.

@sainath- forget about the extra300, it is an intermediate plane and nowhere near a beginner plane.
maybe we can fly on a buddybox setup and you can learn how to balance out everything and control the plane without crashing. Also the gentle lady needs some mods before a first flight. Did you crash it by any chance?

no it didnt crash. it was nose heavy and i was not able to balance it proprly.

so let's try flying in buddy box if you don't want to take any chances alone
