Hello,
I have a Proxxon MF70 micro milling machine that i would like to convert to cnc and use it with Mach3.

i have done a little research online, and although am a little skeptical about using a TB6560 based stepper driver boards, yet am not sure who or where in India can I source these boards from. I am really not comfortable importing these from China.

Can any kind soul direct me from whom or where to source the following
i. 3 X NEMA23 stepper motors
ii. 3 X stepper motor driver boards
iii. 1 X suitable interface board for Mach3
iv 1 X Power supply unit

Thanks in advance

Source the stepper controllers from china and get the steppers from Chadni.
It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic,
Of all things physical and metaphysical,
Of all things human and all things super-human,
Of all true manifestations of the head,
Of the heart, of the soul,
That the life is recognizable in its expression,
That form ever follows function. This is the law.

Completed the CNC control box.
Now to couple the stepper motors to the mill.
Have procured 3 Lovejoy couplers, but would have been better if could get hold of 3 oldham couplers.
Will turn the couplers and drill the shaft holes next.

are these aluminum 50 size stuff ?

did you plan for limit switches and good lighting plus coolant.

yes the couplers are aluminium o/d 25mm and 50mm long with rubber cushions. will machine both ends, prior to drilling the holes.
Yes I would use limit switches 1 each per axis to define +, - and home limits.
I have kept using the coolant/mist mist controls optional for the future.
