I also have a piece of something similar but its pink in colour. its used as insulation for buildings and flooring.. like controlflyer pointed it brittle. i have 1inch thick sheet which break when bended. dont know how much impact resistant model will be if made with this.. I'll dig the address and post it here.. the original is from US but they have a dealer/office in Hyd i guess
