how much gap should be their for the aileron [[for rc mig 29]]

then the 2 pieces would rub agaist each other ................................. if there is this much gap ,i hope there would not be any problem

You have to sand the edges to get a bevel, that allows easy movement without any gap

Reduce as much as possible, as the gap induces more drag and also fluttering on the weaker sections of the airfoil.

Btw, you should flip the aileron/elevon - such as the larger surface is towards the root of the wing and the lesser towards the tip; thereby equalling the resultant forces on the control surface along the entire length of it.

Hi Rakshit, Firtsly Welcome to the forum. Gap should be minimum at the same time ensuring easy flexing of aileron. If you have too much gap it will flutter as well as it will have air leakage. About one mm should be ok.
