I hope this question has not been asked and answered before.

Does anyone have any experience of building hinges out of ABRO Masking Tape? It is commonly available at Paint Stores. Will it work?

is it like paper tape ...yess we use it but not for hinging though the adhesive power of this tape looks strong but dodent stay onn for long plus gets teared off soon

I regularly use various brands masking tape (https://www.gujaratshopee.com/category/industrial-packaging-material/masking-tape) that I have mentioned here, GP Masking Tape, ISAN Masking Tape, HIPPO and etc.
It is a pressure sensitive tape made of a thin and easy to tear paper and an easily realized to pressure.

These tapes are available in the hardware stores every where. Why do you think people will spend min 2.2k to buy from you??? :headscratch:
