This evening two of my team mates, who are instrumental in organising the Aeromodelling meet on the 26th in Guwahati, discovered a 'strange' variety of thermocol in a shop here. They called me and described it to me. My heart was pounding as I heard them. I rushed and discovered a stack of 8mm Depron! Full blooded, unadulterated, beautiful white D-E-P-R-O-N!!!

I am now staring at a stack of 10 sheets waiting to be converted into my dreams. All thanks to my two team mates, Arnab and Tikii (who has just joined the forum).

The best part is that this seller is willing to supply in retail or bulk and is a regular stockist. Apparently it is used during Film Shoots as reflectors.

Scratch builders from the North East - we are now in business.

By the way I personally have yet to see a Depron sheet in Delhi. What we get is Biofoam or Compressed thermocol sheets or at best EP sheets.

Once I saw a thick grey roll labelled DEPRON in Clas Ohlson in  Oslo, Norway; but that looked nothing like Biofoam from India.
On a related issue, I am currently in Amsterdam and I checked up with Depron, Netherlands. It seems that they also have stopped manufacturing Depron sheets for hobby use and referred my to their counter parts in Germany. The German folks sell directly if you order a mimumum of 2000 square metre of Depron.

hep pankaj gather all the people who would like to buy depron then note their order and collect the money and import the depron (taking help frm Mr sai) and deliver it according to their order this way it would be lot cheaper..........
