Have anybody have build the launcher like this? as this seems to be very useful and portable too. I would love to build something like this, as this will mostly give the proper launch to the model v/s hand launch and will also avoid any casualty/loss of model due to hand launch.

nice idea but sir the plane should be designed accordingly i mean it must have something to hook up the rope or bungee under the belly.

Anand, I think that is a bit risky with a powered model, the release velocity will be very high. A simple hand launch......
