yepp totally necessary , especially if u like me have hands damaged from vibrations

just that model was not good for me, limited arm movement and tx in not hanging in neck strap , hanging from the radio warm,

mine is electric heated and a insulated  battery box with electric heating and bottles filled with hot water to keep batteries nice and warm

and about 30 sec shorter flight time not to kill the batteries

sorry there is no link, it is daniel tengwall`s mother who make them, they are very good, about 50€

these are reported to work as well, never tried my self but i have seen 1 in germany but they looked tight compared to mine that is made of fleece material
