I got some plywood that is extremely strong, yet light and can be laser cut very easily as well.
Weighs around 100gms/sq ft (2.5mm thickness) and cuts very well on a laser and is WHITE.

i dont know what it is called. they call it imported ply.

were did you got this ply from & what dimensions are they available? I had been looking for this type of white ply 12 years back but never found this locally, I have been using a standard door skins that are 2-2.5 mm sheets can be as big as 8feet x 4 feet but again I choose from many sheets, the one one which is light in color & also light weight, this is very cheap way of building models, I usually get few parts laser cut & most of the parts are cut using my scroll saw.
