:hatsoff: sir.
Ahamedbhai i have no plan for this plane. I have only photos. Then i will try to make plan for A4 paper to make it esier and will post it....thank u...
nice work taitil... great tip..
Yet another useful technique
taitil, the joining technique may be useful if we use the right glue..
Still i doubt, in what respect it is providing any additional strength?? or its making your plane strong??
Abhay bhaiyya he has used polygrip adhesive ..which is used in leather lining works. Better than any other adhesive available in the market.
Well done
I'm from SURAT.
fevibond from fevicol is also similar to these glue... best for rubber kind of materials and also very cheap...
Yes friends this glue or adhesive is very cheap and strong sticky. But remember this glue ia enemy for thermocol. So friends try to use this glue and techniqe for coro plane, it makes magic...
And it must be easely available in your city...
Superb tip sir! Btw, Any idea about the local/market name for that black rubber? Is it padding foam?
No its not foam. But its called "capsule rubber". It is very light weight.
Thanks sir. Shall surely try the local markets for this.
I made landing gear by aluminium square rode. And wheel is rubber. U can use cloth hanger also and pencil.

My coro Mig7 is ready for first flight......
good work man.. (:|~ to see the first flight.. make sure to take the vid..
I have made similar wheel but from Air Conditioning ducting insulation foam, one side with Glazed Al. foil fixed. In the wheel hub, I used Jel Ball point empty refill pipe.
And the axle is with Al. rod/wire from ACSR overhead conductor cut piece. The foam turned to round shape first with blade and finally with Soldering iron that makes good surface finishing.
And the rubber type bonding is generally not better than CA. Polygrip is just like Dendrite rubber based glue. It's mostly used in car/BiCycle Tyre repairing work perhaps.
Kalyan sir could you pls attach your planes wheel. That u describe.....
I can attach the photos, but not the wheel itself ;D.
Anwar sir, 3D attachment with the forum is still pending. It can be done with sterioscopic picture.
But the real attachment in virtual forum I am helpless.
good work, what is the AUW and power set up for MIG , because i am also making this currently? pl share..
Still i could not try first flight. Then i m trying to using emax 1200kv motor with APC 7*6 prop, 30amp turnigy esc and 2200mhz bettery. When i test first flight i will take video.... Thank u...
Taitil,
very much interested in this method.
I was searching this material in Coimbatore local market, the area for leather works. Found some rubber sheets used for shoe insole. its rubber sheet, but the thickness around 4mm or 5mm.
Then searched in one of the rexine material selling shop, where I found one rubber sheet of this much thickness but very sturdy and not a flexible one!
Which kind of shops sells these material?
From your picture I guess the thickness is around 8mm or 10mm, right?
Regards,
Dileep
Yes Dileepbhai and friends the black sheet is shoes inner sole. Though i have 4×8 feet sheet which uses in my bussiness. Then You will get it from shoe maker. May be they have not 8 to 10mm but u can make it as your uses....

So what would you recommend to use for Polystyrene / Thermocoal / Depron?
FEVIBOND ?? or FEVICOL ?
If POLYGRIP is not foam safe.Is PU 30minute expanding adhesive available?
I have a few RC friends in USA. In America they use "Amazing Goop";

We use mainly UHU Por which is a German product and Gorilla Glue which is a bit expensive but an amazing product... I think I will expand on adhesives in Adhesive thread..
Hello Taitil,
Nice thread. You tried this adhesive method for glow models ?
Also which Polygrip adhesive is this ? there are quite few model while searching online.....Plus 909 or S 709 or MP 609. Please share pricing of the glue and rubber inner sole sheets.
Thanks
Sahil
