I just started this hobby and searched chennai for 3mm bio faom. here's my finding.

1.Subha shree stationary in triplicane no longer sells bio foam. you've to go to their shop in the address given below.

No.6, flowers road, 3rd lane,
entrance 2nd lane,
purasaiwalkam chennai 84,
PH- 9381176131(lalit kumar damani)

* note as of 25 feb 15 they are out of 3mm bio foam and will take 2 months for stock to come. they have minimum 8 mm foam

2. Anandh stationaries Adyar.

They longer sell 3mm bio foam the minimum they sell is 8mm

3. Indian engineering stationaries

#6 state bank st.
near LIC building

chennai 002.

* they don't have 3mm foam as of now but they said stock will come in a month or so.

If any one knows any other shops please let me know...

You can get laminated foam in srirampura.Its called arham traders- :Rs:500 for 5mm 8'*4'.I generally peel off the thick paper

recently got 4mm depron(one side laminated cost 100 rupee per sheet of 3×4feet) from the following address back street of vgp house (off mount road). as of now they have stock of 10 piece left. i spoke to the owner and he is ready to stock 3mm, 5mm and 8mm upon request. hope this will help local members.

Depron from Edalhobby, is paper laminated, and is heavier than the plastic laminated Depron I have.
This thin plastic film laminated Depron is available in Trivandrum.

I am struggling with finding someone here in India who supplies EPP foam ( 2mm-5mm thick). I have been through all previous posts but they are too old and dealers have either closed down or they are not responding. If you have any clue about where I can get it, then please help me with this.

Bought some coro & foam board to scratch build, well the very first plane - An ugly stick probably & a foamie cub.
6 sheets of 2mm Coroplast - 7ft * 4ft - Rs. 1050/-
2 sheets of 3mm foam board - 8ft * 4ft - Rs. 920/-

Including transport about Rs. 2250/- from BVK Iyengar Road, Bangalore.
