hello every one there is a new glue in the market FEVICOL ALL FIX..
many of us might not know but the oldies will surely.. it the same old BALSA CEMENT... used in old-days balsa construction.
a well deserved substitute for quick fix
but does not works well with foam i.e it is not foam safe.
drying time: 2mins
price : Rs 25
some more locally available glues which work good...
1> GASKET MAKER: if u have lost your gasket when u opened the engine and cant find a replacement this is what u need ( pic 1&2)

2> THREAD LOCK: a local substitute for thread lock... it is a red thread lock( pic 3&4)
cost :Rs: 20
PS: ADMIN/ MOD please change the topic name to SOME MORE GLUES IN THE MARKET
hi,
thnx for the nice info. will the fevicol all fix work on coro i.e plastic.
will chk if available in pune. also the gasket maker is a good option for glow engines.

it works on coro..!
CA, Rubber based adhesive (Dendrite), Araldite (24 Hr)
All can fix coro to coro surface, but cannot get permanent and good joint and opens while separating them. I applied all after sanding both surface. Results improves only a little bit but the problem not solved.
What would be the best coro to coro glue ?
Specially for motor mount loading, I finally used screw, nut and washers which increases AUW.
Please advice.
hi,
i use Speedy a local cyanoarcrylate available here. its the best so far and im happy with the result.
have never seen any wings open till now. but i suggest use of stapler pins as safety.

I can't find Fevifit 33 in the local market in West Delhi,
let me know if anyone finds it in their local harware stores in Delhi. Thanks
Any updates or alternate options on local Thread lock? ???
i used this..! on locking the prop nut (the hub like thing which come with BL motors).. works fine.! :salute:
IMHO Fevicol SR 998 Synthetic Rubber glue is excellent for Corro. Have used, and rough landings, years of lying in a dusty corner etc. have not affected it
Got hold of UHU glue last week in some store. Its marked as made in Germany.
Got it for Rs 30 for 7ml. its costly indeed.
Its foam safe. Tested on both Depron and EPO.
