Is it Zacki Elapor or CA or fevi quick?
Which is the best?
If there are any other suggestions I'm willing to accept them.

i also want good glue for repairing easy star kindly advise me also about glue

Also Fevikwik doesn't eat the elapor foam. Only regular fevikwik cures too fast and Fevifix cures in about 20 to 30 minutes.On surfaces of both fuselage halves use Fevifix and tape them together for about 30 minutes. And later you can seal the seams at the joint line with fevikwik if you want. For small parts you can use fevikwik

mr rao is absolutely correct ... this is what seperates multiplex models from rest of the herd

Guys you can try vetra which is available in numerous hardware store you can get 20 gram for 60 rs, it works similar to feviquick but take atleast one minute for proper strength always be sure while using, it works very good on foam models like Easy star and skysurfer. Please do not use it on scratch build model made of biofoam or foamboard, it eats that foam...Pic attached. Use properly sensitive to air. dries if cap left open.

i am using fevitite 5 minutes epoxy is it advisable to use fevitite to repair easystarII

Never use epoxy on Elapor foam.

Will silicon glue work?
Asking because silicon glue is more easily available in my locality than the others.

Don't think silicon Glue works. Fevifix is same as Quikfix. Also you can find similar glues by different brand names. You can also use fevikwik Gel. It is slow curing.

You can use a lot of adhesives for balsa planes. Depending on the bond strength. Thin CA and Medium CA for quick bonds. 5 minute and 30 minute Epoxy for strong and Extra Strong Bonds. I love building balsa planes and these are the only glues I ever needed.

Bonfix or Bondfix ?. Bonfix is rubber based glue and won't work on foam. I don't know about Bondfix.

BondFix. It's gel-based. I think it's the same as QuickFix.

When I made my balsa plane I used QuickFix or fevifix. Worked perfectly well.

The plane I built was 'Guillows Javelin'.

Before CA glues appeared Quickfix type glue was the only fast curing glue extensively used in balsa plane building. And for firewalls etc where strong bonds are required epoxy was used. Quickfix is not strong enough for those bonds.

However, I'd say that balsa cement is by far the best adhesive for balsa.

Conventional glues worked fine, including on "diesel" engine powered models (Ether/Kerosene/Castor) It was only with the advent of Glow Engines that their use was discontinued with all parts that could come in contact with fuel. Methanol dissolved the glue

My planes sizes are .25 to .40 sizes using Electric Power. They all are GreatPlanes Balsa Kits
