Title: Query about building material What is Foam?

A number of plane models are said to be made of the material nicknamed "foam". I want to know what this foam is? Is it the thermocol which is sold in stationary shops ?

If it is a different material then where to get this material from(shops in delhi)? what tools would I need to cut this material in to the shapes of Wings and fuselage etc.

no it's not thermocol.
there are many types of materials that come under it like depron, styrofoam,EPP etc.
