I couldn't find the wide yellow ones anywhere, every shop has the normal ones and they are too weak

Use loads of them. If you fly electric, and do not push your plane too much, they should be fine.
It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic,
Of all things physical and metaphysical,
Of all things human and all things super-human,
Of all true manifestations of the head,
Of the heart, of the soul,
That the life is recognizable in its expression,
That form ever follows function. This is the law.

Cut Tyre tubes, depending on the length required you could cut crosswise at an angle

I always use 2 inch rubber bands locally available... of different colors..
They are strong enough.. and cheap as 100pcs  for 20-25 rs

Many of us here use cycle valve tubes. Very strong and cheap. For up to 800gms electrics, normal rubber bands would do however.
