Got this glue Gun from RCD (http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=56&products_id=722) compared it with Dremel Glue Gun at office and another one i picked from felabay, points that emerged are :-
1. Dremel Gun has anti Drip, interchangeable nozzle and dual temp setting price point approx 3000 :Rs:
2. Chinese one has very poor trigger feed and if you press it slightly hard , spring form the inside and the trigger itself could break, i broke mine twice, what you see in the image is the third one, this one gets hot very fast and makes the glue too gooey. Price Point 225 :Rs:
3. Stanley glue Gun, plastic quality is as good as Dremel, with single temp and no anti drip.
Conclusion Anti drip is kinda gimmick, even in dremel it does drip, changeable nozzle is not a bad thing provided you keep other nozzles safe and can find it when you need it (Do you need it). best anti drip is lay it on its sides and do not squeeze too much preheating. Price Point 460 :Rs: + Tax
My verdict Stanley Gun, value for money, sturdier than cheap charlie ones

Even i use a stanley and i love it. Mine is the small 15W model for Rs.350 including 5 glue sticks. It is small enough to carry around in ones pocket :)

I got another brand from Goodwill Ent, SP Road (They are distributor of Stanly) and they recommended that one over Stanly.
The make is more like "Japanese", has a 'Proportional" temp control 'Pot' for continuous Temp control. Paid :Rs: 450 for it and ever happy. I bet :Rs: 3000 for a Dremel one is a complete rip off.
I used to use a local hot melt glue lately. But recently bought a stanley hotmelt glue gun, but it melts considerable amount of FOAM.
The old hotglue gun never used to melt the foam even when it was kept connected to power for hours!
I dont think it has anything to do with the stick as its the same glue stick i am using on both.

Rs. 3000=00 for a Hot glue gun? not in this life, I will think of buying it.
Even Rs. 250.00 Chinese one works fine for me.
I use a dremel glue gun. I purchased it in the US and have been using it from the past 5 years !! it still delivers the same performance it did the first day i got it.
Dremel and Bosch products are excellent. Stanley is good too.
PS: I paid $39.99 (Rs.1,800) for it.

Hi, Dremel glue gun is Rs. 1900 .. and not 3000. JFYI.
3000 approxmately was the invoice price, of course due procedural limitations, item is delivered first and the payment is made to the vendor almost after a month or three, that could've lead to this price hike, 1900 vs 450, not very much different in the job it does, I guess for a budget guy, who is looking for value for money, Stanley ain't bad at all.
+1 on the high temp part, it does give you high temp glue, higher than chinese and dremel

+1. But no anti drip. works like a charm. If temp is high then foam used to melt. So this gun help reduce temp with pot. SOLID construction. Recommended ;) for the cheap price. drip thing was never an issue.
BTW Stanley products in general are value for money. They rock.
