Hi Guys, I was surprised to hear this cheap technique to repair undercarriages is not being used in India; HOME MADE COLLETS;

From electrical shop, buy different size of electrical connector strips, remove the brass fitting inside the white plastic by unscrewing both screws, cut the brass fitting in half, screw the brass screws back in and VALAAH.....

You have 2 temp collets.

While shopping buy a white plastic cheap 2 pin plug, remove the brass fittings. The bit where the electric wire is held when you wire a plug.
This is your temp servo repair kit. Remove servo arm and drills hole so the fitting you removed can be screwed into it, insert and tighten your control rod and VA.... You have a control rod keeper. Now that you have a temp servo keep, dont forget to find a small nut from some scrap to tighten from under the servo arm if you are going to leave it permanently as the vibration will eventually loosen the brass fitting unless some nut is holding it securely.
