What is advantage (or disadvantage..?) of ABS molded aeroplanes like thunder tiger ready 40.
Is it crash resistant...? or better than balsa....?

I think ABS molded aeroplanes  are  not crash resistant It is difficult to get is repaired  in case of crash as compared to balsa made

My experience says nothing safer and stronger than ABS. Balsa models if crashed from 150 feet nose down the ground you cant seperate its elevator and nose but My ABS (TT 40) crashed nosedown from more than 150 feet and it took just an hour to reair that with a 3 minute expoxy.

Well if it was balsa, the damage would have been lesser and it could be repaired in 45 minutes with 5 min epoxy and some cyano.
Remember, models are designed to withstand flight loads not crash loads. Let's consider a case where you have two models of same airplane one built of ABS and other of balsa.  An ABS model would be heavier than balsa and hence would sustain more damge in a crash due to inertia/potential energy due to heavier mass. Whereas the balsa one being of lighter mass has greater chances of sustaining lesser damage in exactly the same crash.

ABS ones have better resistance to handling and hangar damages than balsa ones, easier to clean up/maintain, and definitely look better than an average joe made balsa model
