Hello,

AS we all know, hobbyking stocks pure silicon wire. I am searching for a retailer in India (Preferably Indore(M.P)) where I can buy the same silicon wire in desired length without paying for extra shipping and all that.

After all, its not a good idea to pay 800+ INR (its cost is ~$7 + $10 for shipping)for just a piece of 5mtr wire, ie; ~160INR for 1mtr on an average.

I have searched it locally but they don't even understand what I mean with silicon wire. They keep me showing those hard copper wires which starts to breaks too easily when bent. Also they are difficult to solder.

I need this silicon wire to do my own DIY things like Y-Bands to connect batteries in parallel/serial, Extending the connection between electronics, connecting two ESCs to same battery(in twin motor plane) etc. Silicon wires are damn easy to solder + these are flexible enough to be kept folded in small space on our planes.

So, if you have any info on where to source this wire and what they call it locally, then please share.

Thanks.

Waiting for response.

When it comes to rc parts i do keep sample with me, however there is no chance to find such things in local markets.

Sumeet

That means, I would have to order on HK itself?  :(

Thanks anyway Dharmik.

Silicon Insulated wires are used in Automobiles, bikes etc. Try shops which sell automobile related electric parts or car/bike mechanics' garages.

Sumeet

I will try that and let you know.

Thanks Rao sir.
