Guys...
I have ordered an 1/10 Exceed RC Brushless PRO 2.4Ghz Electric Infinitive EP from nitrorcx...
My sister is bringing it in May...

The problem is that the battery has to be removed when bringing it via airlines as per new regulations...

What kind of battery would you suggest...

I am looking for a LiPo battery but cant seem to find an appropriate one...

Please suggest me a good one...

I need a 2S LiPo...

And if I may ask one more thing...
Where might I get alternate plugs or plug convertors???

And thanks for the quick reply!!!

And also what's the difference b/w 2S1P and 2S2P???

Never mind...
Got the plugs there itself...

Just need to know about the ratings...

Darshan for multirotors

2S1P means that 2 cells are in series and 1 cell in parallel whereas 2S2P means that the battery has 2 cells in series and 2 cells in parallel

Hope you can understand in a better way from this image;

As you see 2S2P has 4 cells and hence weight of the lipo will be higher than 2S1P pack. But, I hope that this weight increase is not a concern for a car.

I noted that most of the car hard case packs of higher C rating are of 2S2P configuration. Refer the link below;

Would the size difference be huge???

Better wait for the car to reach you.
Check the space available for battery and then decide.

ok...
Thank you for the feedback...

Please check whether this battery is suitable.

What do you think of this???

It's more expensive but a recognized brand at the same time...
Is the LiPo you posted above reliable???

Haven't found any reviews of any sort...

Bonka is known to be one of the best LiPo brands, especially for high-performance racing quadcopters.

Also, I thought the new regulations applied only to shipping LiPos by air freight. Have the regulations for carrying them changed? I was under the impression that you can carry a reasonable number of LiPos <100Wh and 2 LiPos between 100 and 160 Wh as long as the terminals are insulated and you carry them as cabin baggage. However, if your sister is coming from the US there may be some trouble with the TSA with LiPos.

I suggest you check what kind of LiPo is normally used with that car and see if you can find a similar one locally

From 01/04/2016, new rules are in place.

I am not sure what are the implications.
Suppliers are refusing to ship them by Air, nowadays.

The irony is that the battery that comes with the car is an NiMh...
They are refusing even that one...
