Can anyone help to buy Brushed ESC for RC Car locally (in India)

I am having Hobbyking ESC, which got faulty ( my kid connected wrong battery terminal) and its power cable (RED) removed from ESC due to heat,
then I soldered it back, when I am connecting battery, 220uF 25v capacitor showing smoke and instantly its turning off ESC and Receiver too

Can changeing capacitor will resolve issue ?
or this ESC is no more for use ??

It is probably the capacitor, check the voltage rating and buy a similar capacitor and replace it. Shouldn't cost more than 10₹ I think. Electrolytic capacitors don't take well to polarity change. If that doesn't work then it's probably toast. Maybe more experienced members from the forum can help you out.

Thanks, I checked Online to test capacitor, and tried to charge and discharge it in both polarity, and seems ok, then I removed capacitor and found I m not getting 5v on Black n red wire from ESC which will go to Receiver, and instead it's showing 5v on Ground and Data (not Vcc/+)
On Black n red wire voltage is decreasing during test.

I tried to replace Capacitor with little bit uF rating, but its not working,

My understanding is, if ESC is good then it can work without Capacitor (Which is used to reduce jerk)

with and without capacitor, I am getting 5v on wrong cables which are coming out from ESC (3 pin JST Cable)

Really appreciate if any one help me to fix this issue,


Mean while, another and better ESC has been placed, can anyone also update shipping from Hobbyking, Is it working ok now a days ??
