Title: FE123 3.7V 180 Mah Battery Post by: rajathv8 on February 27, 2014, 09:16:58 PM A bid to fix my cousins 3Ch micro heli with a dead battery has left me in the need of a FE123 3.7V 180Mah battery.
I am not clear as to whether this is a LiPo and am not able to find info online either. I have posted an image as well. Please PM if anyone has one to sell. Any info about this mysterious little battery or its source in India is welcome. Cheers :) Title: Re: FE123 3.7V 180 Mah Battery Post by: johnywalker8pm on February 27, 2014, 09:22:57 PM its out of stock right now

The battery does not have a C rating on it. I am not certain if it is a lipo. Attaching an image of the other side. This particular image was taken off here (http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/3-7V-180mAh-battery-for-RC-helicopter-spare-parts-remote-control-free-shipping-wholesale/403234_446445015.html) where the item specification says its a lipo. Maybe its a lipo after all?? Title: Re: FE123 3.7V 180 Mah Battery Post by: IndianHobbyShop on February 28, 2014, 09:28:41 PM All cells/Batteries which looks like this are LiPo's
It's just that we need to know if this one here is a Standard LiPo (Which would be non-standard for the RC Field) or if it's a High Discharge Rate LiPo. Most probably it is a High Discharge Rate LiPo otherwise it can't lift off a Heli. No matter how small the Heli or the LiPo is. Also, If this LiPo gets discharged within 5-10 mins then it is a High Discharge Rate LiPo. (I don't see why it shouldn't since it's from a heli.) |
