Hey there i'm Dhruv Chavan, i live in bandra, mumbai. i'm a college student studying in 12th. i love building things related to electronics, i want to build a quadcoptor i've been researching in web alot about it, i've found a few things. i'm going to make the frame myself as i want to mount a gopro hd hero 3 on it (73grams) for aereal video. i'm a football freestyler and this will help me alot. my budget is low, parents wont give me alot of money and i myself want it to be of less cost. i've been through many retail sites and the overall cost is very high. so if anyone could donate engines or remote control or speed limiters or a battery that would cut alot from the total cost. i'll be thankful even for the smallest thing so please if anyone has any extra things would you kindly give them to me? 

Recently, I've started on a project for a quadcopter X formation for areal video and photos by gopro hero 3. I've been researching since 2 weeks now and read almost everything about it.

So my quadcopter project, Frame i've designed the centre plates in autocad and will get them laser cut out of either fiberglass or acrylic sheet maybe today or tomorrow. The arms i'm making from alluminium or carbon fibre square rods which ever of them i get at the hardware store. For Motors, ESCs, Radio, Batteries, and everything else i was ordering from hobby king.
Yesterday i finalised the order. i'm low on money so i chose everything which was at a low price yet satisfying what i need. so i got to ~$140. then shipping price 67$ total bill came $228 including tax. Which is more than the money i have.
I would be grateful if anyone could help sponsoring my project. Even a small sponsorship will be really helpful. Which could be money or any spare parts anyone would want to give me.

67$ shipping? Use normal airmail without worrying. If you ship via ems you will have to pay heavy customs duty. Do not order the radio from hobbyking. May we have a look at your cad rendering?

i'm doing a few changed in cad right now. i'll post pic of the plates. there was no other option. 67$ above 2500grams :/

May we see your order please? Just to make sure you have the right components. I recently made a quad and am a platinum member at hobbyking. I don't see how you can go over 2500gms..

I can sense that your power combo may not be that optimum, choose a motor well below 1000KV to avoid vibrations, and a suitable prop for it and  better go for 11.1V lipo as the thrust given by 7.4V may not be sufficient for a descent sized quad.

You donot need a hardcase pack. Go for normal turnigy lipo. They are the best for quads.
