Hey Guys!
I need a good transmitter for my f450 quad project. I want to use features like GPS mode and Alti. Hold. I am pretty new into this so i don't have much idea about these stuffs.
Please help me in getting a good Transmitter for my project.

Hey there Manish!
I'd suggest going against avionic Tx/Rx; PS: no offense to KK sir. It's just that the spare is hard to find, if not impossible.

Under 5k, my suggestion would be an FS-i6. That should perfectly suit your requirement. FS-T6 is another good radio.

There are other great radios, but the flysky ones are the best, to begin with.

Manish111

Thanks for your help Arvind.
But i was hoping to buy a transmitter with more than 6 channel so that it would help me in the longer run. Do you have any other suggestions?@Arvind

If you want a future proof radio then don't go with avionic at all. Aravind has already said why not. I Modified.
If you are looking for good radio then you can invest in frsky q x7 which may cost you ~10K.
If you have budget constraints then better to go with flysky i6 or i6x.
I6 or i6x mods are available for 10 channels using all available switches and knobs. Don't worry about future as these radios are in good demand and you can get back almost 80% of your initial investment if you plan to sell.

Thanks @ Balakrishna Reddy
Do you have any seller or site which can provide me the FS-I6X. I checked on quadkopter.com and other 2 sites  but it was out of stock.

All I said was here's a possibility.
Aravind and Bala sirs, you haven't made any specific offer.
Please do not squelch other's well meaning posts.
Just say what you will provide, at what price.
As fairly old members, you may be aware of the stuff I've loaned to newbies at no cost...

So please make your offers.

Aravind298

@KK sir

No disrespect, but he wasn't asking for any offers. He was just seeking suggestions. I've had my chances with Avionics, and it's pretty sucked. So, if I were in his place, I'd need a new radio which will last for quite a while. If anything goes wrong, like a burnt receiver, I'll just die if it's the Avionics. But in the case of a Flysky, it's both cheap and readily available in the market to repair.

BTW, your post didn't like an offer to me ;D

K K Iyer

Just said here's  one possibility.
You guys offered any real alternatives that he can consider?
Or just advice? Advice - that expensive stuff!

Please don't block well meaning posts unless you are able tomake a better offer
Please say what you have to offer.
Else please don't cut others off.

As you said, he's not looking for offers, only alternatives.
Pl check if you are offering real alternatives, or just opinion...

The guy is local. He can easily check me out.

Aravind and Bala, pl say what you are offering besides advice...

K K Iyer

Aravind and Bala,
On second thoughts, I'm just an old foggy, quick to take offence.
So you guys can ignore my posts.

@Manish, whatsapp me on 8697468905.
I should have a spare radio for sale. Brand new.

Also lol yes, I wouldn't use an avionic if they gave it away for free with a lifetime supply of receivers. Just not worth it, had bad experience with those radios. Twice. Quality sucks to say the least

K K Iyer

Rishab,
What's all this 'call me' stuff?
Why not make an open offer?
Come on. You are too deeply into this hobby for secret negotiations!
Why not say what you're offering and the price you expect?

Maybe Avionics radios don't work in Cal.
Three of them work just fine here.

K K Iyer

@manish111,
Better forget about me and consider the other offers you are getting.
Regards

My apologies to
Aravind, bala and rishab

@KK Iyer
I am sorry KK sir. I didn't mean to hurt you in any way regarding avionic.
I don't really know anything about those avionic transmitters at all. I said what I heard from many friends.
I only have flysky radios.

@Manish11. I have pm'ed you whom to contact(not me) for a flysky i6 transmitter.
I didn't post it here so as to put it private.

Manish111

Thankyou Guyz for all your help
The topic got a little hot but we all are in the same hobby and everyone have their on experience on various products.
Thankyou - @KK Iyer Sir, Aravind, Bala, Rishab.
