that's just kits
Isn't that what you are looking for? These are ARF kits where you have to add your own LiPo and transmitter (and in some cases, flight controller). They include all the parts you need to build it. You will need tools like hex drivers and soldering equipment to build them. You will also need a threadlocker compound like Loctite Blue or Anabond Blue. Quadkopters.com is a great store with excellent service and good products. What is the purpose of the quad you plan to build?

@sk1701   sorry.... i meant to say "that's just frames"

i found an arf kit on rcmumbai of the same but with motors, battery, radio...which i couldn't find on any other sites.. the reason i stay away from rcmumbai is because there payment option seems complicated.

what i plan to do is program flight controller on atmega 2560 and use it instead of on board controller because i'm doing quadcopter for college project. We should be able to do atleast that by ourself on this project.

Then you can get tube s500 kit

It is admirable that you are willing to make your own flight controller. These days, it is all too easy to buy a kit or RTF and pass it off as a 'DIY project'. The quadkopters Hunter kit does not have a flight controller. May I suggest that you build your own frame so that it truly is a DIY project. It can be done very cheap out of glass fibre and aluminium/ wood booms. My only doubt is whether a DIY flight controller would be as forgiving of a slapdash DIY frame as a readymade controller would be. See this: http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/custom-fpv-quadcopter-build/?all You could make the flight controller running open source f/w like ArduCopter, MultiWii or AeroQuad. I don't have much experience with this. What is your budget?

the initial plan was to build our own frame designed using CAD and made using CNC or such machines. But we have no idea on CAD software and then we enrolled to a project center to help us with it.

but as time went, they don't seem confident about it and now they advised us to buy kit and then replace its FC with atmega 2560. the reason said is the balancing problems that we can avoid if we buy a kit.

the first slideshow presentation of our project has done, we showed the q450 frame we purchased.

we are starting with arduino programming.

budget is 40k with camera, the main goal of project is live video transmission.

You don't need CAD to make a frame, you can get the centre plates laser cut by some members on this forum or buy them from here http://www.quadkopters.com/product-category/easycopter/ You could even measure with a ruler on a sheet of glass fibre and get it cut at local fabrication places. The booms can be made out of aluminium rods cut to length and drilled to fit the centre plate and motor mounts. Balancing problems should not be an issue, if the flight controller is good, it can compensate for an imprecise frame to some extent. See this http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/the-ugly-quad!/?all Do you already have the frame? Are you coding the flight controller from scratch or using open source firmware? Live video transmission can be achieved using an FPV setup as available here http://www.quadkopters.com/product-category/fpv-kit-and-accessories/

zuchit

we have purchased the frame q450 ( nothing else yet ) but building on aluminium is under consideration also.

yeah, we plan to code our own flight controller from scratch on arduino atmega 2560 board.
