I tried ordering from amazon but they are not providing shipping to India

working of amazon is somewhat similar to ebay. like on ebay anybody can become a seller and can sell items on ebay, but ebay itself does not sell anything.

on amazon , one can become a seller and amazon itself is also selling there stuff. to check this when you click on any product ,you see (SOLD AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON) mentioned there.

in your case , you are selecting product offered by local seller at amazon(us). so they dont give you international shipping.
if you want to buy a product and want it to be delivered here in india , then you have to check the box (AMAZON GLOBAL ELIGIBLE) on left side ,you will see the products marked with (PRIME) in your searched products.

only those products are eligible for international shipping which are sold by amazon itself and not any local seller(except a few maybe available).
on one side its good also coz u wont have to mess up with any local seller of US. u will get replacement/refund by amazon if any product reaches you bad. so its kind of secure purchase.
