Go to any electrical shop and ask for unity multimeter. It will not cost you more than 200 bucks.

Pylon..its easy to purchase a multimeter from any electronics spare shops, or Electrical shops as Sourav mentioned, but make sure the meter is in good quality, and with big digits, yes a digital, one, with Capacitance and frequency counter, along with Hfe..it will be helpful in future..and such meters are rated within about 450/Rs to 550/Rs..and make sure the build quality is better, and yes the test probs also..
