i am situated in chandigarh and want fibre glass tape

but don t know where to get the same and by which name local know

go to your nearest motor rewinding / electrical repair shop and ask for fibre tape

they use two types - one type is a kind of paper coated with varnish
and the other is fibreglass tape.

You may go to a sports shop and ask for bat protection tape...you may get in a roll if you are lucky or you may get in a rectacle sheet
