Apart from being Full Range, Failsafe on R620 adopts a given configuration in case of signal loss, like activating your autopilot. If you don't have a GPS or autopilot you can preset it to try landing your copter smoothly by setting all levers to neutral and your throttle to a level that gives you a slow descent rate. Apart from that R620 also have a satellite port which is used for receiver redundancy.

R615 is a good way to start.
