Hi, I'm looking for an micro rc heli on the lines of v911, to practice in my room :P, budget is tight. BNF preferred, since I love my 9x, and really don't want to use the tx that come in rtf.
Please don't suggest rcmumbai, I tried them (few days back), their site is broken and they don;t even bother to respond to emails.
Would anyone here recommend a beginner to directly move to a 450 size heli?

I was seriously considering getting into CP helis, so I can at least provide a little info. The closest comparison to flying a 450 size CP heli is flying a quad in rate mode (no stabilisation). However, crashing a large CP heli is expensive since even a small crash can require you to replace a lot of parts. A 450 heli is also pretty dangerous. Those blades are no joke. They can cause some serious damage. Depending on your flying experience, it may be possible to learn directly on a 450 heli but it is not advisable.  Check out the beginner heli forum on RCgroups.

Hi, thanks for the info, I'm pretty comfortable with a quad in rate mode. I fell in love with the sophistication of helis a few days back, when I started flying in the sim and watched youtube videos about helis. Thats why I was thinking to get into helis as well (after planes, cars, and quad) :D
