Title: Need V911 Tail motor and Lipos
Post by: avesh on March 22, 2013, 10:06:10 AM
Crash v911 and the tail motor supply mount broke out. Resulted in damaged brushes (that supply power to motor coil). so need a tail motor.  Also 120 or 150 or 200 mah lipo for v911..

thanks

yes arun, people complain about bad tail motors that comes with v911, 150 mah lipo seems perfect with respect to wt/perf .

i thing Blade motors would still work, they might withstand heating issue, may be you should try some heatsink  or burn some of the motor mount to get air flowing. 7-8 mm heatsink might be ok... may be.. !!@.  Bought v911 from manpreet sir, he has a spare motor.. :)

use a drop of motor oil or wd40. My v911's motor was getting very noisy! Just add the lubricant. Keeps the motor cool and motor life increases!  :thumbsup:

@Arun- Welcome!...   :)

Does your v911 drifts left when when a slow rudder input is applied. Mine drift left when nose turns right and when turning right it drifts little back! I guess its normal for fixed pitch but just asking to conform..   :-\

I don't think mine is drifting like this..
Are yu flying with the stock transmitter?

yes the stock. Small drift to left when tail turns to left!. I bought from rcskyhobbies ebay! for 4k!
I also have the flysky 6 channel but how do you change the dual rates(mode2) on flysky?

I am talking about the dual rate change! The stock transmitter has a silver button on front which changes the dual rate for 70% to 100% for outdoors flying! V911 becomes more agile and can fly outdoors. With flysky transmitter, u can't switch the dual rate.

I actually doesn't use the stock tx so don't know about that.. but if you are taking about the servo deflection adjustment you can use the right upper switch in the fly sky to control the servo movement which will reduce the movement of swash and vice versa
