Hi Speedracer

Instead of searching it on ebay India , search on ebay.com. You may get it cheaper there. Btw what are you using it for..portable cooler.

Regards
Ankur

I don't think you will attract any customs on this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-pcs-136-8W-TEC-Thermoelectric-Cooler-Peltier-12V-EMS-/280511421974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item414fc89e16#ht_2091wt_905

You get 2 pieces of 136 watt thermopile for $13 = :Rs: 550 shipped right at your door step. This purchase would fully qualify for all customs exemptions. And as Ankur said, its extremely unlikely that customs would create any problem. The only risk I see is the reliability of unregistered post in your area, as its the last mile between local FPO and your local Postman that all unregistered packages gets flicked.
Still, I would still sugegst you take the risk
