can any one send me some sample of japonica and cotton silk wood or any other alternative for expensive balsa.......

thanks... :help: :help:
Dear RC/wish
its better if you get a balsa sample from somewhere and show it to local "Ara Machine". They will definitely get u some similar alternative wood(but definitely heavy).
This is how i got mirandi wood. This helped me, hope the idea works for u as well.
Best of luck.
For cotton wool wood, ask for "Samul" wood. Samul logs it is easily available at cotton farms for very cheap or free. get one for yourself and get cutted into sheets.
Semul Wood is flaky like 'Sohan Papri' you cannot use it any place other than sheeting, if at all.
Japanica is called 'Patiala ply' or something, as told by some senior (Capt manish/Sanjeev ). This is the only viable options you may have. VC on this forum once had some similar material. He could some crucial feedback.
i ll surely try out the suggestions given .....
thanks a lot for the replies.... :salute: :salute:
