I was watching the forum from quiet some time. I have seen your reputation in forum . I was not expected a reply or help from you to a noob like me. Thanks for your kind heart in this aspect.

Sir, we all are RC flyers and that bond us all like no other bond. 
I am RC flyer from Gujarat, and since we fly only on weekends, my username is WeekendFlyer.

In response to babu.talamunchi's original post asking for a trainer plane, I had posted pics of my Yak12, Sunbird and Tiger Moth. Not easy for me to let them go, as they are like family members.
This Sunday, 7th Oct, the weather was just right after long.
And our airfield was lovely.
And RC Aunt, my co-pilot hadn't flown in six months.
The time was ripe to fly the Yak, Tiger Moth and Sunbird.

Alex Bessie (bessie on this forum) wanted the Yak. He said he's a beginner. I had some doubt if the Yak was suitable, as she had been FAR TOO SENSITIVE on earlier flights.

This Sunday I found that all she needed was some nose weight and 50% reduction in throws.
Now she's smooth as a pussycat.
RC AUNT flew the YAK solo and pronounced her as easy to fly as the Sunbird.

I've sent a short video to bessie.

Do you want the Yak with the ugly arrangement of lipo taped on and a lump of plasticine nose weight?
Or can you wait till I figure out a more elegant alternative?

Hope you can tolerate the delay.
New cowl under construction.
To hold lipo and nose weight internally.
Got tired of poor finish on foam cowls, so went ahead with balsa...

Now the lipo is flush with the fuselage bottom, and the nose weight goes inside the cowl

Finishing on the cowl is really clean, I can remember a post on "How to make this Nose look beautiful" some time ago, makes me wonder. And inspires me at the same time, as I was designing (or rather struggling to) some plane in 3d  yesterday.
It always feels good to see your models here.

Generally a good idea to provide reasonable air flow around the LiPo for cooling
