i want 8 piece of AA size tx battery.....it's very urgent

roopeshkrishna

Rahul, you can buy AA size batteries from any general electronics shop, but make sure the battery is in to Nickel Metal dydride ( NiMh), and in to low self discharge.. a 2700 or 3200 mA/H cells will do the job nicely.. Sanyo, Panasonic, Camelion are some reliable brands.. and if you are price concerned, can go for Nickel Cadmium batteries.. but try to buy NiMh cells.. will be an asset in long run.. a pair of NiMh from a reputed company will be around 270 to 320 Rs/- while one cell of NiCD will be in to 20 to 30 Rs/-

Kodak 2100mAh NiMh cost 400 for a pack of 4, though this pack does not includes a charger.
So each cell is like Rs. 100/-. Cheap and best.

Go to any Digital Camera Shop and PURCHASE.

Check for VIPOW 3S NiMH 1600mAH Low Discharge LG Cordless cell.
It's costs 75/- here in Kolkata.
i. e. 25 :Rs: per piece.
However, you have to break the pack and make out individual cell.
I found this as cheapest one.

Don't ask for low self discharge only. Also look for PRECHARGED battery. they are also with low self discharge.

I Use those VIPOW NiMH battery for any application required for AA cell.
It's value for money and NiMH battery at the cost of NiCD battery. ;D

Once similar battery seen to THI @40/Pc. It's HK product. They are also value for money.
Thanks.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

a 2700 or 3200 mA/H cells will do the job nicely.. Sanyo, Panasonic, Camelion are some reliable brands..

the problem  with this capacity is that the Tx chargers we get are 60mAh so charging a 2700mAh will take around 45 hrs....

but also if u charge a battery, Nicd or NiMH for  more  that 17-20 hrs it will no more  take charge..... so that it 1200Mah... it is  less than 50% of the capacity.... and " UR PLANE WILL COME DOWN IN MATTER OF TIME"

reading such a advice on the forum i went in for a 2100mAh battery and got a  plane down .. not knowing such facts

suggested to go  for a 700mAh - 900Mah battery... easy to  charge  and good  to use.... If possible  go for EVEREADY ULTIMA( red pack) 700 mAh nicd..... they work best costs 120 for 2....

do not  go  for kodac or any other camera oriented batteries... in case of a current surge they go dead(at the wrong time) but for Tx they can be fine but not recommended.......

Ever since my first day in RC,i have been using exact same specs KODAK as i mentioned above on my Radio, and have been lucky enough to witness no such faults....
I would definitely recommend Kodak for Tx,just my personal experience and view.
I'll be back.

for  Tx it  will be fine.... as there is no current surge load and u have the battery level in  front of  u....! to notice low batt....

the above information is for Rx batteries.. just a heads  up if any one wants to take a opinion....

from above reply i feel some thing wrong..  whenever we use a specific capacity batteries its a must that we have to go for the recharging side also.. with a mere 50 or 60 mA, it is not impossible to recharge fully, but we must go for a higher capacity and more specific recharging options.. the minimum capacity of my TX battery cells is starts from 2200 mA/H, purchased in 2007, still working fine.. and i am a modeller, and RCyer in daily basis.. not for minutes but for hours.. and up to this time none of my crafts in all segments, never goes down or stopped due to TX battery problems.. because in all modern TX systems there must be a warning systems on TX itself.. and if you are all concerned about surge current, without any limiter, whats the opinion about using a LiPoly battery in TX..?   so, it is sure, we must understand the specifications, charecteristics, and fundas while using any material and stuffs in to our need..

Hi Sony 2500mAh orange rechargeable AA batteries are my favourite. I am not saying specifically for Tx, these batteries are good overall.

Here is the link http://www.sony.co.in/product/nh-aa-b2e

and its charger http://www.sony.co.in/product/bcg-34hld4e

This combo I have used for years in digital cameras and its the best.

Beware there are many counterfeit batteries like these in market, so make sure you buy from a sony shop only.

Its around 1100rs. for 4 AA batteries and a Power Charger. This charger takes about an hour to charge the batteries fully and these batteries lasts longer so overall it may not be the cheapest out there, but definitely a good value for money.
