One of the coolest stuff which I had bought over a long time. Two single tx case which have accommodated everything pertaining to both my transmitter and still got some more space.

Sanjiv @Rcdhamaka you rock. Thanks for bringing such a nice stuff to us.

I have been able to put both tx with their charger, two simulator cable, all my 10 receivers, WTR-7, spare LSD batteries, spare tx toggle switches and aeriel, and long range amplifier inside with still some space left. Padding and cushioning inside is also very good. Has two latches and hinges.

I got the same case I have been waiting for months!! Good build. One thing I would like to point out Capt! The two things to save I bought the case were the Transmitter Stick and the Duck Antenna. From the cramming ot other materials I see, the Antenna dick is not protected. You should put some foam between the Antenna and the Mics accessories box in a way that ant load is not put on the antenna but the  Tx body.

@ujjwaana - the case at rotor http://rotor.co.in/show-detail.asp?prodid={5E90D48A-86DB-4A2F-B7FB-EDA594CBFF1E}&pn=1 is the same as RCD ? i have same radio as yours and 7c 2.4 faast.

Please let me know if both the radios with accessories/charger can be kept in case offered by RCD or just 1 radio + accessories/charger or radio + radio only ?

Anand. I no longer have 7C - I upgraded to Futaba 8FG back in July. Nevertheless, both Rotor and RCD Boxes are of same dimension, and can house most of Radios easily. Few of my fellow flyer have one from Rotor and RCD's case is better in few aspect. The only down side is that RCD does not have Foam pre-cut (it may be good for many though!!) and it does not have a carrying strap. But the outer casing is bit better with RCD one.

The Cases in the above pictures are of "Two' separate cases as a single case can house only one Transmitter safely, with few extras like Servo and Batteries etc. I would not recommend you to keep heavy-bouncing objects like Charger unless you replace the spongy Foam with harder one like EPP. As per now, I only keep my Tx and the neck strap in the box.
For storing two Tx in one box, call RCD for Dual Tx cases.

@ujjwaana the tx and accessories has been neatly packed between two layers of foam  in two levels, the accessories has been packed inside plastic boxes. The plastic box cannot touch the antenna because of different levels and because it is stopped by the carrying handle of tx. Further all items including tx is snugly fitted in between layers off foam and cannot move.

PS : you have demoted me by two Ranks. :'(  ;)  :)

I bought a Pelican 450 case for Yash's 7c

Can be seen here lying next to Yash while he prepares his FJ (black)

This is a real case if you want your radio to be really safe.

Hi Gusty,
Just an observation. I was reading on one of the forums that one should carry the radio in a case in such a way that if the case falls the antenna should not bear the brunt of the fall. Is there any way you could turn the radios 180 degrees? Or maybe 90 degrees? Please correct me if I am wrong.

If you are looking for total protection - dust, water and shock - nothing like Akshay's Pelican case. See http://www.casesbypelican.com/ or http://pelican.com/. They are expensive but boy... are they good! Check this out http://pelican.com/oem/about/survival.php.

Yes asinghatiya,
After lots and lots of research I found Pelican cases, are safest for our costly Txs. We even tried throwing it with full force on the feild with TX inside, and lo it was quite safe inside. So it's not matter of expensive or cheaper, with Pelican case I can be sure with my Radio.
I will certainly advocate for Pelicans, who ever have expensive TXs with them or need to travel with them, can rely on these cases. After all we want our equipment to be safe and work well when we need them and Pelican has got the job done for me.

And I forgot to mention they come with pick and pluck foam insert, so you can shape foam to your desire in no time.

There are different sizes of cases available, I bought pelican 1450, for a single radio. That's quite suitable for my use.

Please contact them for pricing.
