Hello!
:salute:
Depron is also called Biofoam in local market. Try searching with that name. Let me see if I can manage the sample of biofoam for you.
Thanks.
well, it takes some searching to find depron in your city. It is available in kolkata but it took me 3 months to find it. You should try searching by the names of Extruded Polystyrene(chemical name, and the name by which i managed to find foam in my city), styrofoam (roofmate or floormate)(this name is also very common as it is used for roof insulation) and biofoam(biofoam is the brand name of extruded polystyrene manufactured by biopac corporation). Other foam that i have used is the high density thermocol which is very commonly available.
Snehal, send me your address and I will try to send you samples of Depron / Biofoam, Coroplast and Styrofoam.
In some shops they are known as cooling foam... they comes in different thickness like 6mm, 8mm, etc... and of colours like black , white......
they are available in allmost all the furniture shops..........
buy it from foamy builder, i bought it and made axis slow fly etc,out of it, just would break, nowadays he is not in good terms with some states including west bengal ;D

Azhaguvel,
Have you received your samples too?
HI , :)
Got samples today..thankyou Vc.
:headscratch: But i could not figure out which one is depron or biofoam or choroplast and syrofoam is clear from its blue colour
Styrofoam is a really very good light strong material.
Attaching a pic with numburing on it.
Also please mention me ,other names of those materials which will help me in searching those in local market.
Also if anybody could mention me the price for those material and from where can i buy it online.
Thanks :)
1 and 2 is biofoam or depron ( other name Extruded polystyrene)
4 is "coroplast" not "chloroplast"(no biology :p) (other name sunpack)
Infact biofoam and Styrofoam are same chemically. They are all extruded polystyrene. It is a closed cell polystyrene foam which is manufactured through an extrusion process, hence extruded polystyrene. Biofoam is the brand name of extruded polystyrene manufactured by biopac corporation and Styrofoam is the brand name of extruded polystyrene manufactured by Dow Chemicals.
