Hi,
I am looking for a 4 channel electric RTF. A Cessna182 would be perfect. I checked the online stores, but either they are out of stock, or the information provided on the website is incomplete.

If any of the sellers here have it, please let me know.

Dude just a suggestion,

Why don't you get a slow stick ?. You can get good altitude, plus it glides superbly. I think its pretty reasonably priced at our LHS and you use the same setup for some other scratch builds..

just a suggestion.. :)

I do agree that beginners should start with something like that. But, to spend 4K+ only to get bored with it after 1 month or so is too expensive for me. Sure I could reuse some of the parts, but without any local support, I am not sure how successful I will be.
I haven't ruled it out. probably if I can resell it once I am done with it, I might give it serious consideration. Any idea how much I can sell it for once I am done with it?

Why don't you go in for the Art Tech P51D Mustang or F4 U Corsair? They will cost you around 10K. Have heard that they are pretty stable aircraft (especially the Mustang) and beautiful scale models to boot. You won't get bored of them after 3 months and they also make fine display models.

check the website of jackshobbies
they have a huge collection of arf/rtf planes of all types
my suggestion-try the gliders availble on their site[brushed ones are avbailble for about rs 6000-7000]
they seem to perfect for a pure beginner and repairs are inexpensive

or scratch build a trainer plane

[and as per throwing them ayar is considered flying a glider is as total different experience which u will carry out for a long time]
