@ ShriHariShine Thanks buddy.

Actually to give a background, I am looking for a MHz system, because the receivers as I understand are expensive for a GHz system. Plus they are brand specific an not generic. In fact I have a 27 MHz 4 channel radio which takes care of my current flying requirement. However it is not a branded radio and does not have port for sim cable either. This limitation I want to overcome and therefore looking for a better radio. Might as well go for a 6 channel with sim port at one go

Shrikant,

From your post I understand that you wanna upgrade becoz you need a sim port on your radio and the cost of a 2.4Ghz rx is keeping you away from a 2.4Ghz radio set.

Well the first issue can be tackled by having a separate simulator and keeping your existing 4 ch. Appears that Sai does not have simulator right now, but indianhobbies.com does.

6ch would be required mostly if you go in for helis. But if you do not have heli's in mind then may be 4ch is sufficient. If you do go in for 6ch then consider how many planes do you wish to keep in your hangar at any point in time. If they are not more than 4 planes then I think a single receiver is more than sufficient if you keep rotating your rx across the planes whenever you intend to fly them; that way you can keep the cost of building a plane low. I guess all the settings (trims, etc.) can be stored in the memory of transmitter. So if just one rx is required why not a 2.4Ghz?

Thanks ashutosh.

I have a qts regarding his sim (E-sky): Anwar, you miht want to split this thread to sim FAQ

Can this be used for all simulators? FMS is quite basic as I understand. In future if I decide to purchase another one, can this same TX (for want of better word) be used? May be a dumb qts  :giggle:
