Hey guys.
Looking for a used 7ch or more Futaba Or Spektrum 2.4ghz radio.
Max budget is 14k.
Could even consider an FM radio, but will keep the budget to 10k for the Tx Rx as I would install an Assan module in it :)
[Edit]
Only Indian sources, please :)

Hi, i have Futaba FF7, taken from Mr Vinod Madhvan, but the reciever is only 6 ch.. Its 29 Mhz, FM based, but can be modified to72 MHz just by crystal change. I had recieved it with no batteries.(I was expecting Rx battery)

I am looking for 2.4 Ghz one(6 ch), but would like an exchange, rather than sale.Exchanged radio can be of any trusted brand.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't have any Radio for exchange :D
kindly try on ebay.com. lotsa options ranging from 190$ to 350$ i.e. Rs. 8000 to 16000 with Tx/RX/Servos full package including shipping. Also ask the seller to ship by fedex or ups. you will have to pay extra for shipping (fedex & ups are expensive) + customs but still it will work out cheaper and u will get brand new item without any headache. Fedex or UPS will deliver to your home. No customs hassle also. I purchased my 7C full package from ebay and i dint even have to pay for customs. if u buy it locally people will try & fleece u. A link is given below which i think is the best deal at present but please explore more options as there are thousands available on ebay. Thx

The above package is for 320 $ & free shipping. if u get it by fedex then 40 $ extra. i.e 360$
I don't think it's so easy.
The Link posted above has a shipping of usd 55 or 40 + 240 cost of product make the cost 295 or 280 i.e INR 13750 or 12880 add CD on this @ of 30% that makes it 16744 / 17875 plus all the risks involved in getting it through. Here shipping is by USPS, EMS or UPS will be very expensive as mentioned in post above.(I my self have paid CD by that rate)
As discussed on many threads of this forum and acknowledged by many members here that it is really difficult to import a radio. So this is really misleading to state that it's so easy to buy one from Ebay.
There are many LHSs who sells radios even some sells Futabas, Some the LHS compete with even international online stores, It would be difficult for me to call them "fleece" sellers. And many radios are sold and bought on this forum are those all were Fleecing deals?
price will be like this:
320$ + 40$ (fedex)= 360$= 16000 ( make the seller an offer for 360 with fedex. she wont refuse. i purchased mine from her.)
customs for fedex = 55 $ = 2500
Total = 18500/- worst case scenario 19000. and u get full set new in box.

I recently saw a thread on RCI where a person is selling used 7c for 16000 which should be more like Rs. 9000 or 10000/- only. while 4 Futaba S3004 servos costs Rs 4000. how do u justify this?
PS- Ebay is ur safest bet. if u don't receive the item within 45 days. Raise a dispute on paypal and get ur money back. so its a win win situation.
PPS- even if u buy it on towerhobbies then 260$ + 85$ (UPS 2 day)= 345$= 15500 + 2500 customs. but still he will get new item instead of old used one and that too home delivery. Pay by paypal, if not received within time then get the money back. see the thing is u have to put some effort. but if u r willing to blow ur money away then buy locally. Thx
7k or 8k for Futaba 7c with receiver, wow, Please if any body can offer me for the same. I will buy blind folded.
-----------------------------
*AUCTION INCLUDES:
Transmitter - 10 MODEL MEMORY
TX Battery
S3152 High Torque Servo x 4 with hardware
Wall charger 110V (NOT 220V INTERNATIONAL BUYERS SEE MESSAGE BELOW)
Antenna
Instruction book
Warranty card
and Box
---------------------------
And Receiver ? Isn't that missing from Ebay deal. and How much does that costs?
Ebay says it is $70.00 + 40(Shipping by USPS)= 110= :Rs:5060.00 excluding CD
So 17000 (fig. posted above) + 5060= 22050.00
I have tried Ebay option before importing my Radio and Ebay was much more expensive option.
and another overhead here
"CHARGERS ARE 110V NOT 220V BE SURE TO USE A CONVERTER/ADAPTER WHEN CHARGING THIS RADIO."
So get ready to shell more money for adapter.
Akshay B, 7 or 8000 for new Tx only. used will be available for 70 to 80 $. please check ebay regularly.
also check the edited link above & keep in mind the all the prices above are for NIB items not used ones.
step up transformer from 110v to 220 v cost Rs. 200. i think a person who buys 16000 Rs, radio can save enough to buy one converter also.
Used radio from ebay?
I presented all the facts, with my recent experience.
And I have more positive feed backs for my ebay ID than you can imagine.
Really how much? kindly post ur Ebay id. lets see if i can imagine right.
round 1 is over
.....
round 2 start
I would agree with crazy ... i could arrange a NIB futaba 7c for approx 19k.... i see no point in buying a second hand for 16k.... also please remember u have no clue as to whether the receiver has recd any internal damage from a crash, handling etc ... i have myself witnessed the perfect of looking receiver having range faults after a crash.... a new receiver in such a case would set you back by 6k....
Guys please relax :)
I can't consider eBay because of customs hassle. For that matter, I don't even want any relative coming in from the US to get it.
I edited my previous post. I want only Indian sourced :)
When u get an item by Fedex or UPS, there is no custom hassle. All u have to do is pay customs duty to them. I never had any problem with ebay when shipped by fedex or ups.
That is more like the norm... not the rule. Once it gets detained, you are on your own. It is very rare though, as these courier companies seem to have fast-track/cordial relations with the authorities.
You are correct Anwar Bhai, Once my package got stuck in customs, carried by one of the courier co. mentioned above, and I have to wait for 45 days to get it, and of course price they charged for getting it through was not low at all.
