Had never head of the Carson brand of simple helis.  Every website on the subject seems to be in German etc

If this is on 35Mhz, what channel is it under ?  I could not find a way to verify that it uses regular PPM either, but most likely it does.

It is a 35 MHZ PPM system, much like the Esky 0404 TX. Who knows may be the same internal board.

I think your easiest option, if you are getting into RC for the longer term, is to get a standard TX and RX, and use those in the heli.  Of course, this assumes that the receiver unit on the heli is just a receiver, and not a complicated "all-in-one" unit with gyro etc built in.

You can also try importing a simple 35Mhx TX from the far east (China/Taiwan/HongKong/etc), not sure about issues like customs that you will run into.

The receiver has a built in gyro. I thought of getting a TX, I have the required crystals with me. I infact contacted the people at MPowerShopping.in for an ESky 0404 TX they had extra.

Unfortunately I am having a bad experience with them. The guys has taken the money and not shipped the product!!. Do you know them. I dealing with one Mr. Ghanesh and he is playing hookey. I made the blunder of not going for a COD payment. I was in a hurry to get it before Christmas.

I believe Mr Ganesh was active here for a few weeks a while back.

It might be the same case with many RC stores, where they get items from outside, and then send it to the customer (Note that I am making a guess here!).  The good thing is that they handle with the customs troubles, the bad thing is the wait and a feeling of deception about being "In Stock" (it might be in stock at the supplier, and the hope is that it can reach the LHS in a week or so!).

Mr. Ghanesh says he is shipped it to me! and gave me a fake airway bill no. Also he says it is in stock since this was part of a Esky Commanche kit he had. I don't believe in character assassination!! But he is not picking up his phone or not replying to my emails.

If he is bona fide, then the truth would be welcome, even if involves a delay in delivery!!

Let me send a PM to him (should get delivered to him as an email also), so that he may clarify the situation.  A thread like this on forums such as these tend to last for a long time, and may do significant damage to the credibility of an establishment, so let us give them a chance to clarify the situation.

Thank you, I just want fair play. I too do business. If I goof up,I always tell the customer what happened. After all we value our integrity the most..

This is the heli. The build is average.. It was slightly tail heavy. I had to balance it. It is mode 2 by default. I got it when I went to their factory in Erlangen.. They are more known for their buggies and cars. They are a local player..

Did you get the TX finally, or are you still waiting for it ?

Anwar ,
Such generalization is not acceptable , we have  over 400 feedbacks for  people to see openly on E Bay  and around 10 feed backs right here  on RCINDIA .

Yes   we can at times have  delay's in supply but not attending  to customers calls , mails etc is not an option  I am sure 99% of us would  resort to .
From our experience so far we have seen that buyers also tend to expect domestic couriers to be delivered next day , they also need  to  have reasonable expectations .
Tracking in the case of many domestic couriers is not  very effective and at times could be misleading  as I think the attitude of  not updating progress on line  by many couriers is quite common.

I used the word "MANY", not "ALL"; and that is based on what I see in practice.  How else can you explain someone taking money from the customer, but not talking about shipment ?

And do not worry about the "image" of LHS in general.  People are already aware of the general feedback about various stores.
