Hey guys,
In immediate need for sealing iron for monokote along with the shipping.

Try this. It does the job.
I've been using it for years...

Thanks for the reply,
I have been trying to use that but it seems to burn the monokote, any tips or techniques you could share would be highly appreciated

On this iron, 'Lo' is barely hot enough to stick Monokote on top of Monokote.
'Med' is needed to stick Monokote to balsa.
Just one or two clicks above 'Med' will shrink it over open structures.

Experiment with your iron to find the lowest setting that will stick a piece of Monokote to another piece, and proceed from there.

Remember that it is Monokote only if it is from Top Flite. From other sources it is chinakote, and may need slightly different settings. Also, transparent ones (which feel thinner) need lower temperatures.

Put an old cotton sock over the iron. Don't use pressure.

Thanks for the tip, any adhesives which you would recommend for sticking the monokote on the balsa ? Or which have worked for you in the past, as we would be using a cover film for our hobby plane. We are looking for light weight adhesives

The covering film is pre-coated with adhesive. You don't need any extraneous
