I am getting this one for 19000/-
Includes all esentials . Not on Lipos though
Is it worth Buying ?
19,000 is way too much since you can get a NEW Rustler VXL for 21,000..
Ask him to reduce the price..
Check traxxas.in
Agree with Divyam on this.
Also, the bandit won't have continuous parts support as its not carried by Traxxas India. If you break something, the dealer will have to order it specifically.
Traxxas is not available in India i checked. So i agree on the parts availability might me a chalenge.
I am traveling to Europe this month might as well try and buy something there.
Was also looking at Ebay Uk for some basic RC car to gift my nephews..
could you guys suggest something under 10k from the ones listed here .

Do you mean Traxxas products are not available in India ? If so, here's an intersting link :D
http://traxxas.in/
:) I meant the Model Bandit
Haha :) ya Bandit is still not available
Hey its too much for a rusty. I would say 14k max. If you pay anything more you rather get a slash 2nd hand. @19k a new rusty is a better bet.
I feel 21k for a new rusty is costly considering slash is @25. A much much bigger monster than the 2wd rusty.
Kaps please check the model thoroughly before buying. Let me know if i can be of any help. Are you a newbie?
Under Rs.10,000,you probably aren't going to get a completely hobby grade car for your nephews.
What do you plan to do with your car?
yes i am a Newbie. I havent said yes to the deal as yet.
Since i am travelling too i was thinking of getting some cheap ones from UK .
But not sure WHICH & Where.
Can u guys help
So is :Rs: 10,000 you maximum budget? Also,we need to know if you just want to bash or if you want to race as well.
Not really Race.. Its for Fun / bash /
And your maximum budget is.......?
10-12k inclusive of Battries and stuff
you can look out for used stuff.
You can wait for a while. Our rc scene is growing bigger and the prices are quite competitive.
Guys need ur help today..
here are some pics from what i can buy ..
Please let me know if i will get shares for these PHOENIX BX II
Its costing around 10k all inclusive
I think you forgot to upload the pics :)
not able to upload pics though..
But thats the model thunder tiger PHOENIX BX II
You will get spares but Divyam said his shocks leaked a lot.Ask him for more info.
if its not racing then i would suggest a ST II instead of a BX II
it would take the beating a little better. but two problem you are likely to face are:
1. as iamahuman stated. small jumps tend to blow ur shock caps loose. and ur oil will leak out a lot.
2. since its 2WD its not exactly great on dirt and all.
TT shocks leak too much. Mine popped today, banged into a rock at speed. Its ok if you dont mind fixing it - i dont.
It is better to get a slash 2wd - even if second hand.
Yes, on the lower end TT cars, the parts break VERY easily..
Try and get a Traxxas or HPI.. In my experience, Traxxas is very durable.. Dunno about HPI though..
Saw this today at a shop... Getting it for 10K... It is worth buying.
Do we have this brand in India ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Go1azB6Y2EE&feature=related
Also saw a Brand called Carson.. have to decide on either
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD-0OWOUE1w
Please suggest
No Carson in India. There was a guy who used to deal with Kyosho parts but I doubt if he is doing it now.
How are these brands otherwise ...Good to start with atleast
I think you should start with a brand that has a strong dealership in India, because they carry parts. And as a beginner, you are bound to break parts.
If you get access to spares,Kyosho is quite good.People like the Ultima SCT.Get their race spec version. It has the necessary upgrades. But it's a 2wd car.But all this is IF you get parts support which you won't get in India.(or at least I don't think so).
For kyosho:
http://www.yourhobbyshop.com/
Not sure about spares though.
For use in India i would strongly suggest Traxxas. Easy to get spares , tough truck and getting popular.
@Rajat:yourhobbyshop is owned by the guy I was speaking about. He lives a stone's throw away from my home. ;D Last time I checked,he wasn't stocking stuff.
Yeah most of the stuff on the site are out of stock and he seems to have more HPI spares than Kyosho. Too bad, would have been nice to have another dealer in town.
The 2wd shouldnt be a problem once you learn how to drive it. 10k is a good price - the onlt problem will be spares. If you dont mind importing go for the SC else search around a little more.
Hey a person on the forum itself was selling a rustler @ 10k. You can give it a try.
